The conformational show dog needs to be an excellent example of the breed. He needs to move well
with impulsion and drive, be balanced and well muscled and be able to perform the task they were
bred to do. Fitness is key.
All performance dogs need cross training and additional activities to bring them to their optimal
level of performance.
Whether its, showing, agility, tracking, herding, flyball, or racing, performance conditioning
will increase a dog's competitive edge. At the same time this program works to minimise the
damage that occurs during an athletic performance.
Aquapaws can help each canine athlete reach their full potential and enable them to avoid common
injuries. Individualized programs are developed to meet the needs of your dog.
If you are preparing for your National, the Royal or Speciality shows, weekly appointments are
recommended. If your dog is new to our conditioning programs, they should start at least 10 weeks
before your important event.
Owners of healthy dogs who are interested in maximising their dogs performance through
conditioning do not need a veterinary referral.
