INFORMATION

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

Swim times run strictly every 30 minutes unless you have booked longer. When the pool is busy, your lateness will inconvenience other pool users. Allow enough time to toilet your dog, pay for your swim session and be ready to enter the pool at your booked time. If you are late for your appointment you may not be able to make up your lost time.

Please toilet your dog in the designated area provided before entering the pool.

Please clean up after your dog. There are bags and bins available for your use in the designated toileting area.

Please DO NOT toilet your dogs on the garden beds

Please bring a towel. We have a full time groomer on site who can wash and dry your dog for a fee. Appointments need to be made with your swim for this service.

The rinse off area located in the pool building is free of charge. Its purpose is to rinse dirty dogs off before entering the pool. Dogs are NOT to be washed with shampoo in the rinse off area.

If your dog has had diarrhoea in the previous 24 hours, please do not attend your swim session. Please reschedule it for another day.

We have buoyancy vests and harnesses available for use free of charge.

Can't make your appointment? Thats fine, but please inform us as soon as possible. If you regularly cancel your appointments, please note that your 'prefered time' may be allocated to someone else.

Please do not drive or park on any grass area in Winter. You may become bogged and will leave an unsighlty mess.

EAR INFECTION AND SWIMMING

In some cases, if water gets into the ear canal from swimming, the ear canal can become moist. This moisture fosters the growth of microorganisms in the ear canal. Prevention in these cases can be as simple as cleaning the ear to remove the moisture and prevent the infection.

We have bottles of Epi-otic available for purchase if your dog is prone to ear infections from swimming. Epi-otic is a mild, non irritating, cleansing and drying solution.

An effective way to clean the ear is to fill the ear canal with the cleaning solution, then gently massage the ear at the base. They dog will usually shake the solution out of their ears.

Never use Q-Tip swabs / cotton buds, as they may push debris deeper into the ear canal and rupture the eardrum.
